primary modal genre (PMG) (III-29,III-51,ほか頻出)
modal genreはこちら、なのだが、これだけでは実質的には何も言っておらず、下位概念であるPrimary(PMG)/Secondary(SMG)/Conceptual(CMG)のそれぞれを理解しないと読み解いていけない。この3つが実質的にはキーワードとなる。
で、とりあえずPMG。SMGとCMGは別途。
A PMG is an assmlage of Principal Chord Families of similer type:
a Princpal Chord Family mantion housing the spectrum of variously colored Principal Chord families of the same essential harmonic genre. [III-29]
一つのPMGは、類似した種類の 基本コード群*1の1集合、即ち、様々に彩られ拡がりを持った 等しく不可欠な 和声ジャンル*2の 基本コード群 を収納する 基本コード群邸宅*3である。
Primary modal genre (PMG) is the proper term of a Principal Chordmode category [III-29].
Primary modal genre (PMG)*4は、一つのPrincipal Chordmode*5のカテゴリー に相応しい語法*6である。
Each PMG contains not only all the important chords of its general type, but also indicates the natural parent Lydian Chromatic Scale tonal environment for the chord , and within that , the natural parent scale from which the chord arises initially.[III-51]
各々のPMGは、
重要なコードの全ての一般的な形式*7を含むばかりでなく、
そのコードのための 自然な親LCスケール*8の調性環境、およびそこにおける そのコードから最初に引き起こる自然な親スケール を示す。
次の8つが挙げられている[III-29];-
- Lydian mode I major (I Lydian)
- Lydian mode II seventh :Lydianスケールを2番目の音から並べ替えたもの、以下同様(II Mixo-Lydian)
- Lydian mode VI minor (VI Dorian)
- Lydian mode III major (III Aeorian、IIIm+5に対応/majorというのはImaj/IIIに対応していると考えられる)
- Lydian mode +IV minor 7th b5 /major (#IV Locrian)
- Lydian mode V major (V Ionian、Imaj/Vに対応していると考えられる)
- Lydian mode VII eleventh b9th (VII Phrigian)
- Lydian Augument mode +V seventh+5 (+V altered/super Locrian)
